Hello,
I'm trying to accomplish an effect (photoshop CS2) that looks like an object has been half frosted over and frozen. Namely the bottom half is dripping with icicles but the object's colours are visible underneath it. To do this, I'm trying to put crack in the ice and adjust opacity to get the colours to show but the image isn't working out very well. If anyone knows of any icy tutorials and especially cracks-in-ice tutorials, please link me to them. Any tips on how to accomplish this frosty effect would also be much appreciated. I know this is somewhat specific but I would be very grateful for any help I recieve.
