The "contact us" page hasn't been done yet, and the ordering page doesn't actually process an order, because that has yet to be connected.
I plan on adding the usual backups for people who don't have flash etc..
Load time is a bit of an issue, but you can't always have your cake and eat it too.
BTW, the chinese gateway is themed around Buddhist prayer wheels.
Brutal is best

for anyone that has looked, I've made a few basic changes and such.
Still waiting on some info for the contact page, and processing orders just displays an array.
the meaning page for the nicaraguan portal has been added.
As always, brutal is best.

Hello all,
the contact page has been completed, and orders can now be processed.
Please ignore the ugly paypal image at the bottom of the ordering page, as I have a replacement for it that hasn't been uploaded yet.

Thanks heaps

I'm going to be honest I don't like it. I think the Flash is too much. I've seen some really good photography Flash sites and this just doesn't make it. For a photography site. I think the animation is clever, but out of place. Preloaders are good, but I just got sick of that one by the 3rd time I had seen it. The prayer wheels were good however. I like those. They remind me of one of my favorite Eddie Murphy movies. The Golden Child, "give me the knife...please" Anyways, I think you could have pulled this off with far less Flash. And what's up with the tiny navigation at the bottom? And I where glass and have a huge monitor and the navigation on the home page is hard to read. You've got colors that are too close to each other, an inappropriate font ( for a navigation anyways ) and the text is on a skew. I think its a bad combination. Hope this helps you.

I agree on the preloading sequence complaint. I believe it's one of those things that you don't notice how annoying it is to see it over and over until you look at it from the outside.
As for the mention of having seen other flash sites that "work" I'd have to say that majority of the flash sites I've seen don't tie the animation in with the overall theme of the site. Whereas with this there's an obvious connection between spinning prayer wheels and the buddhist theme of the chinese gateway portion of the images, a connection that believe it or not has very little to do with "The Golden Child", although that was a good movie back in the day LOL :)
The font is skewed because it follows the natural direction of the prayer chamber.

As for the font on the front page, I've seen it in on many different machines using different browsers, and I have no trouble reading it.
Thank you for the input, I'm definately looking at the points that I felt had merit.

P.S. the tiny navigation at the bottom was mostly just to get the pages indexed a bit more easily.
