Hello,
I am new to this website, and I have spent 2 full days on the internet trying to find out how to do this "type" of photoshopping. I am a full time photographer, and I am trying to capture a 50's type pin-up style look to my digital images, ie Canon 20D images. I have found some other people that do the same or similar type work, and I have no clue on how to even start this. I have supplied 2 links for photographers that do what I am trying to do. I don't want to copy them, I want to give my own flair to that style of imaging. I am just looking for the basic steps, so I can work from there. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me with this.

Thanks,
Bruce

LOL ... yup, you and 50,000 others want the magic button to do that.

Alas, there is no single tutorial or plug-in that makes this possible in a single click or two.

These photos have been heavily re-built. I'm not talking about "retouching" this is "rebuilding" the image.

The artist works with the features of the photo -- working over just about every aspect with various retouching and painting techniques.

It's REAL ART, and takes REAL skills, lots of time and a good helping of talent.

ALSO: you have to start with a superb model and a superb photo session and resulting photo. These shots just don't happen. This artist went to a great deal of trouble and time to get these images as perfect as they are.

BRAVO.

Good luck
