Hello everyone,

I'm not a professional web designer or anything. I made this website to help my wife " A hawaiian artist" to promote her art and to achieve her lifetime goal of preserving Hawaiian Art of Making Kapa(Tapa) bark cloth. I also thought that making a webstore that sells her art later on will be a good idea. (I am still working on that) . At the meantime, I just reconstructed my website www.kapahawaii.com I finally switched from using layers to Divs and started using CSS.

I am accept criticism very well, so any comment you may have about my wbesite, I will really appreciate it.
Thank you all, and I am looking forward to learn from you guys!

No, I do not think it was down. Did you click the link or typed it in? usually people tend to type kappa instead of kapa... would you try again? Thanks

Tanahy-

I know they give you the idea that they will make you lots of money, but those Google Ads don't pay off. You can't cash out until you hit $100, and you only pull in about $1 a week maximum, so for 2 whole years, you'll have a crappy looking web site and it won't be worth it at all.

I am sure you can see the obvious, so I won't point those things out. I like the "gallery." Good job on that. I wish I could do that. I own flash, but I don't know how you did that with the gallery. That's cool!

My first 2 reactions are (1)that the font size is small. This leaves too much white space on the homepage. (2) I am always very uncomfortable reading text that has no margin. Try changing the padding to about 10 to give some separation between the text and the box border.
