I am animating in PS CS3. I am using the animation timeline, not animation frames. When I click new layer (in layer window) the layer is inserted for the full length of the timeline. I then have to grab the ends of the layer and shrink it down to 2 frames. This is annoying when I am doing a new drawings every two frames.
1. Is there anyway I can control how many frames the layer extends?
(i.e. insert layer at playhead for 3 frames)
2. Can I have the layer insert where the playhead is in the timeline?
3. In the time line window where I see the timecode; 0:00:05:04. How can I reduce the length of my movie so when the layers are inserted they don't extend so far? Right now my animation is 5 seconds. My timeline extends to 40 seconds.(0:00:40:04) I want the timeline to be exactly 5 seconds.
Thanks
Frank
