Hello all,

I understand the book "From Design into Print" by Sandee Cohen is not coming out to May. Is there any other books covering the same subjects, with pitfall warnings and techniques that any users could recommend? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanx in advance

You need the All New Print Production Handbook (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/082309992X/ref=ase_thedesignpublish)

The All New Print Production Handbook is the practical, incisive, authoritative handbook that reveals and explains every aspect of print production.
Paper types? Proofreading? Platemaking? Pricing? Print processes? Packing? Any of hundreds of other topics? Here's the complete one-volume resource that illuminates and illustrates these complex areas and many, many more, always placing the information in the context of wider movements within the industry and the emergence of new technologies.

YES... we liked it very much!

From Design Into Print: (http://ow.ly/12YnX) Preparing Graphics and Text for Professional Printing by our friend Sandee Cohen

but if you're really serious, then you need:
