What would be the most efficient way to print a 4' x 4' image using a standard 8.5" x 11" printer? Thanks.

What?
Do you mean the original image was 4' x 4'?
If so, then simply print and the print options in PS will ask you if you want to "Scale to fit".
If you mean to print out an image at 4' x 4' with a standard printer... well, good luck with that. You'll need to get access to a professional large scale printer or plotter.

I want to print an image that is 4 feet by 4 feet in sections of 8.5 inches by 11 inches. I will then paste them all together to form the 4'x4". Doesn't seem that is too impossible, does it? Why cannot I print one portion of the original large image and then another portion and then another portion, etc.? Then line them up into one LARGE image of the original design.
