I have a question.
I am using Photoshop CS2 on Mac OSX 10.4 (something) ... anyway, I imported a scanned document into Photoshop and attempted to clean up the dark areas by highlighting it inside a Marquee and then going to Adjustment > Brightness / Contrast. I even tried Levels.
When I move the sliders (with Preview selected) the area inside the Marquee changes. (As it should).
The moment I click "OK" it reverts back to the original image - unchanged.
WHY-WHY-WHY???
