Hey everyone. I'm a complete novice with photoshop. From what I understand, what I'm trying to do is going to be pretty tough. I had a company logo designed by a local tattoo artist. Once it was drawn up, he scanned it.
Now I'm trying to have window stickers made for vehicles. I need this image to be completely white so it can be seen against a tinted window.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The company I want to do the window stickers said something about layers but the conversation quickly went over my head.
Thanks in advance.

I just purchased a mac and unfortunately haven't splurged and bought PS yet for this machine. My old pc is dead.
Your PhotoBucket link went to a whole selection of images... and it's impossible to see which one.
Your project has to be screen printed in WHITE in order to work properly.
I've done it many times -- but no digital method will work appropriately.
We'll have to see the image to advise further -- but let's say:
* Convert it to pure black and white
* Reverse it
* Judge which way it looks best (against dark windows)
* send it to a screen printer for clear decal stock.

So you're saying it's impossible to do on the computer?

Hahahaha. Let me get this straight… you want to print a White ink image on a clear adhesive sticker back?? Sure, no problem - just hit the white ink button on your printer!
Cheez! The lack of knowledge of even simple print production amongst designers today absolutely astounds me!
Assuming that you are printing this as a flat image and only in white, all your printer needs is a flattened B&W image; it can be as a TIFF or JPEG, or ideally as an Illustrator file. They do not need a layered file unless they are planning on doing something other than just printing to the image. Since it is printing only in white, all you have to tell the printer is you want it to print as opaque white on a clear adhesive. If your printer does not understand that or asks for something different, than you need to get a new printer, because they don't know what the hell they are talking about.

I'm not printing this image. It's being sent electronically to the company who makes the sticker.
I want the black to be white and the white to be clear.

When did I claim to be a designer?
I'm far from it.

My apologizies for make the assumption, however, simple production techiques still apply. All you need to tell the printer is that you want the logo to print opaque white on clear adhesive.
Again, if they cannot figure that out then they are NOT a good printer.
