Yesterday I got the message that my scratch disk was full. Sure enough, my C drive only had 17 GB of free space out of 320 GB. The day before it wasn't even half full. I found 3 PS temp files that were huge - 2 were 63.9 GB and one was 36.1 GB. I deleted them and opened PS again. I attempted to crop a jpg image and it froze. I restarted my PC and the temp files were back...same size. Every time I open an image and try to crop these files are created. I realize that PS has to create these files, but isn't that excessively large? I can't do anything in PS. This was not the case just the other day. What could be happening?
TIA!
