Cant get the page designed to center

I am designing this page for a friends organization. someone else started the work and I am finishing it. The only problem I have is the page is off to the left and the right side of the page is empty. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to center the content and add a background color or something. here is the website. (http://esperanzanjesus.org)
