CS5 Batch Process Image Size | Height 700px

I have 1000's of images that are huge. Want to resize all to a JPEG height 700px - Medium quality -

The image processor will not let me just put in a height

Any help appreciated

You can use the "Web Album" feature ... just tell the "large images" in the set-up to reduce to 700 or what ever. Be sure that the other settings are set to none, unless you want them optimized, etc., or at least set resolution to very high.

Now it will reduce the LARGEST dimension to the ammount you specify.

It will churn for a while, then present the index page.

Go to that directory and throw away everything EXCEPT the "Images" folder.

(Unless you want to leave it as a "web" gallery on your local drive.)

The originals will be save in their original location.

I do it all the time to get a sub-set of images for Facebook or other 'non' essential uses.
