hi, can someone help me please... i was asked by my work to recreate a leaflet for an event on photoshop, as the one they'd made in word was too large. i took the graphics and retyped the text and everything looked fine until i printed it out - everything was fuzzy. can someone tell me why? thanks, muz

Can you give some file size info. What size document are you trying to print? Then go into Image>Image Size and post what it says for the inches dimensions and resolution. I would just like to rule out resolution issues. Also is this being professionally printed or is it being printed from a desktop printer?

hi, thanks for your reply... i was basically trying to print out an A4 sheet divided into 3 leaflets. image size was approx 20x28 cm, resolution 28.346 pixels/cm. i was printing it out on a printer, not professionally. i have just tested with trying to print out various different fonts at the same text size as i was using and it is also not sharp. am i wrongly expecting photoshop text to come out as crisp as in word?

Usually decent print quality is 150-300 pixels/inch (Thats about 60 pixels/cm at the bare minimum).

Try resizing your image to something like 60-100 pixels/cm.

thanks for that - i use photoshop at home and it seems to have the resolution set higher, but the version at my work has the low 28 pixels/cm set for some reason. i'll just need to adjust it when using in future.
