Text Alignment Around Object

It should be simple to do this - have a text block follow the edge of an object, or even more simple, just follow the edge of a photo so that the text doesn't go over the photo or object. Just can[t seem to figure it out! I'm using PS CS2 and Windows.Anything Helps.

You can drag a guide out by using the move tool on the rulers. Once you have a guide lined up against the photo make sure "snap to guides" is checked. (View>Snap>To Guides). Then you can drag a text box out with the text tool and it should snap to the guides.
