I have tried many available online tutorials trying to make a 'andy warhol' style poster out of a photo. I have found that they all presume that the student knows alot about photoshop already. I would appreciate if anyone knows of a great step by step tutorial on this, that you might send my the link.
Thanks in advance Last edited by blownlx88 : 04-04-2008 at 07:25 AM. |

There are hundreds of "OP" art tutorials out there, some good, some bad. Most just call for a posterization, and color range replacements with day-glow colors.
Of course, for those of us who were THERE, we know Andy didn't do it that way. As a true artist and innovator of an era, he had a methodology. Here's the one, but it WILL require study and WORK. There are no 10-step Warhol solutions: Warhol Style![]() |
