Hi I have taken photos of a prom/formal dress and the colour has come up different to the actual fabric of the dress, I have tried changing the hue/saturation in photoshop and it has improved however it still doesn't match the actual colour of the dress, I have a fabric sample of the dress can you please tell me how I go about correcting this.
Thanks for your help, May. |

I would think that the easiest way is to google this and look for places near you. It should list prices and services offered.

This is one of the most difficult kinds of colour matching
Those of us who shoot fashion use a special product to establish a custom white balance. I use the Xrite Colorchecker Passport when shooting fashion and now use it when I am shooting under unknown lighting situation. There are other brands you can find to help you establish a good white balance. In order to use such a white balance tool, you need to shoot in RAW |
