How can I create an image in PS that is clean and sharp with no white or dark edges? Every webpage I see has these clean sharp images but I can't get them. I will never be a successful designing web pages until I can get this under control!
For an example of what I mean, click here: http://support.3ryd.com Thanks, Paul |

I don't understand ... WHICH graphic are you talking about? (the referenced web link goes to a forum, without graphics other than an icon and the header.) BOTH are transparent GIF files, or PNG files with Transparency.
Put your graphic -- free floating -- on a new layer ... then Use Photoshop's "Save to Web" save under the FILE menu, and designate the background as transparent. You'll get that effect. |
