I can't use any brushes!
so i download the photoshop cs4 trial.
but theres no brushes to use at all. i tried downloading new brushes but none would work. im thinking that's its locked or something but how do i unlock it? please, please help i'm a highschool freshman and i need this for my digital photography class.

Try deleting the preferences files and restart Photoshop.
