Default CS3 can't open RAW files... wrong document?

I have tried downloading an updated camera raw and is still giving me the same error message: "Could not complete request because it is not the right document" this started happening when I started using a new camera with this cs3 program. Someone help please??
Thanks!!

You didn't say what camera you have. Check the Adobe site to see if yours is supported.
