Default automate tasks

Can you help me?

I automated several tasks in order to open a template. I used the actions pallete and I can go directly to the template with one click.
My problem is that I can not create another set of automated tasks in the same pallette.
What am I doing wrong?
I am using Photoshop 6
Thanks for any help.
