I am in the process of looking for a new job and have put together a porfolio site to show some of my work. I have been receiving many responses from recruiters wanting to submit me for positions that they have available but I haven't seemed to pass that stage. This leads me to believe that my resume is doing a good job of presenting my skills and that it may be my site that needs some work. Please feel free to be as honest as possible. Thanks.

Do not get discouraged that no one has moved forward to offer you a job yet. You probably know as well as anyone that prospective employers are maddeningly slow to take action.
Consider, too, that some companies may feel they cannot meet your salary requirements - there are so many variables. Are you willing to move where the job is? Recently a young lady who wanted very much to work in Atlanta (to leave Boston after 7 years of cold weather) is moving to a good job in New Jersey because the market for her skills is very limited in the south. You might include a resume in .pdf format so that it is immediately available to anyone who is interested in your work. |

Well your site is good and at the same time not so good. The left column of the website looks unprofessional, the pictures used are also not clear. And it looks like the website could do with some copy right information.
