Default Repeated request to register on startup

Every time Photoshop CS2 starts up, it wants to be registered. We have "registered" it many times but the registration dialog still comes up every time we launch it. (It was doing this on the previous install and now that we have started running Win7 - very same hardware as before - it still does it.) It's not a huge deal but somewhat annoying. Any suggestions? Thanks!
