Default How did I do this?

Hi,

About 1 to 1.5 years ago, I found this cool tutorial that I followed to create the attached. I have since forgotten how I did it and can not find the original file or the tutorial. Can any one look and see if they know how to do this kind of effect?

thanks in advance

joe

If you are referring to the color image with the effect around the outside, a lot of those type of effects can be done by duplicating the image into a new layer and applying whatever filter or effect you want. Then take the rectangle marquee tool and select a square shape inside the photo and hit delete. That will allow the color image under the second layer to show through.
