Exclamation How to make/save masks?

I have what may be a simple question. How does one save a mask? For example I know how to do those cool edges on a photo using a mask or quick mask and I've seen CD's full of edges and layer masks on Ebay for sale. But how do you save them so that you can reuse them again?

Hi,
To save layer masks just save your document to PSD format.

To save a quick mask:
- return to standard editining mode (tap [Q] key); the quick mask turns to selection);
- save the selection as alpha-channel (Select > Save Selection);
- save the document as PSD file
