Hello there
you've got some kind of logo/image in the top left hand corner of the screen (3d wire mesh looking thing) except because of the layout only the bottom half is visible. it appears to be cutoff. you might want to consider making the links on the left hand side bigger, or something else that will make them stand out more. Additionally, the boxes that the links are in cross over the boundary line of their area. The content window needs some work as far as colot schemes and whatnot is concerned, especially the pink links. The blue text is hard to read, and because of the color, it makes everything look like a link. i'd ditch the website ranking button, that type of thing has kindof gone the way of counters and animated email links. Frames are a big no. Also, i'm not 100% on this, but I think i remember reading somewhere that screen readers and frames don't get along so well, I would think that if this is the case, due to the nature of the site you would avoid frames like the plague. Look at using css to control the layout and color content, rather than using <font> and <strong> tags everywhere. content needs to be kept seperate from layout and looks, this makes it ALOT easier to update later. My honest opinion after looking at the site and rereading what i've said about it is that the entire thing needs a huge revamp/overhaul. |

I like the template but I do not like the writing, fonts or color. It looks free. Will they offer you a better font? The way it is now is distracting from the information that you have. |

but the material inside does not. The left column is a
typical style with a tiny font. It is quite unreadable. I expect you increased the size of your font to help us older folks read the material more easily. That is sensible. However, it is a bit too large for many of us and not large enough for those who are truly visually impaired. All would hang together better if you dropped the frame business (a format not much admired today). Choose a slightly larger than average font for the navigation and for the text if you wish. Or make the font easily resizable. I have seen sites offering a button to click to increase the font. This is useful because some older visitors do not know a lot about changing font size. |

Hello Everybody, In regards to the reviews that everybody has
gave on the site so far, I think all the people that has gave reviews so far, I will try and keep everybodys sugestions in mind. I am trying to create an easy site for disabled people to come too as well as other people that just won't a simple site to get great links that are offered on the web. I am trying ti keep cost down as much as possible since I don't cjarge for links that are put on the site, I am not a computer wize so it does get hard at times trying to create a great site. I am going to work on some of the things that people talk about, as far as frames go, i sould if i not mastaken just drop the left and right frame image's and i willl try more to get rid of the wire image, i got rid of it once today but then had that stupid red x that looks stupid so i would weather have the wire image then the x in the corner although the wire image does look funny, but keep reviewiing the site and i will keep the website a going. Thanks http://www.disabilitylinks.info/ |

But there still seems to be too much difference in the
size of the font used for navigation and that used for the main content. It stands to reason that if the visitor needs the super large content font, he will not be able to read the navigation links. You do have some good content here which can be of use to your visitors. Use your spell checker to make needed corrections in the content. |

Very poor. Get rid of the coloured backgrounds and text. You're trying to build a "serious" site, so make it look professional. Black text on a white background, with minimal colour and graphics. Also, don't use Times Roman or any other serif font -- stick to Verdana (preferred) or Arial. If you're not using CSS, learn it and use it.
